The Flower and Frog is a space for positivity, joy and REALNESS. As I explore my twenties I want to bring you along with me. Taking you on my adventures through my blog posts, sharing how I manage to keep positive throughout all that life throws at a girl who is just trying to navigate her way through.

How Did We Get Here?
In the 2021 lockdown me (Ele) and Mum decided to buy an iPad and create wellbeing illustrations and animations. This started with the characters Flower and Frog, they guided the illustrations and brought playfulness to what could be deep topics. We wanted to create a safe space to bring light to people when we were all separated by Covid. The page drifted off for a bit whilst I was busy at uni but after I had finished my degree I came back with full force, getting my face involved not just illustrations but still focusing on wellbeing. The Flower and Frog may not feature as much as me anymore but they are the playful root behind all that happens here.
My Dream
My mission is joy. There is no other way to put it, in my dream world we would all know joy. I think kindness and playfulness are two of the most important things to get ourselves into a state of happy and I wish that everyone finds the authenticity to discover their pure joy.
Who Are You Ele?
Ele Spreckley - Creative, Actor and Seeker of Joy!
If we are keeping it formal (I hope we aren't) I have a BA Honors degree in Acting, have worked in social media and have had various jobs along the way including being forest school leader and working in theatre in education. Right now alongside social media jobs I work in the most wonderful gift shop and am about to set off on an adventure across South America!
Now if we are talking about what makes me me:
I love colour, Christmas and La La Land, I listen to sad girl pop and love a boogie whenever I can. I go to dance class as much as possible but will also be found dancing around the house or on the dance floor at any establishment that has one. I spend every moment I can being curious because that's what helps us grow and wholeheartedly believe that there is so much hope that we all deserve to discover.
